Pre-Kindergarten:  4 Year Olds

The objective of the pre-kindergarten program primarily is to prepare the child for kindergarten. Our goal is to help each child develop the learning readiness skills necessary for success in school. The daily schedule is arranged to provide ample opportunity for self-expression and discovery as the child learns responsibility and decision-making in using classroom materials and learning centers that are developmentally appropriate. Circle Time including a Bible story, the Pledge, the weather, calendar and days of the week, story-time, music, art, outdoor play, learning centers, and activities that promote reading and math readiness skills are the daily routine. This age level and older is when field trips enhance the learning experience.
