Statement of Faith

 

Sarasota Lutheran School and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church teach and believe in the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We are part of one holy, catholic and apostolic church, which will exist until He comes again.

 

We believe this gracious Triune God created and still sustains all things, redeemed all things in Jesus Christ, and calls the world to know Him as a God of Grace who wants all human capability and all earth resources to work for the common good now and forever.  Sarasota Lutheran School, with excellence in education wrapped in this Triune God’s gracious purposes, will participate in the building of that one holy, catholic and apostolic people, who will be a blessing to their generation.

 

Sarasota Lutheran School is a ministry of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  We gladly accept this ministry, and invite any and all to journey with us in a process that invites people to be all they can be for the sake of our generation.
